What is Torq?
Torq is a GPS speedometer and driving telemetry app for iPhone, made by Eversight Studio. It includes trip recording, route replay, G-force analysis, driving scorecards, and data export.
Does my trip data leave my phone?
Core trip telemetry is processed on your iPhone. Exporting, sharing, backups, speed-limit lookups, analytics, and subscription services have separate data flows described in the app and its service settings.
Can I use Torq while driving?
Set up Torq before driving and let it record passively. Do not interact with your phone while driving. Review the results after you park. GPS and sensor readings are informational and can be affected by signal quality and device placement.
